How To Use A Shoehorn

Sometimes, when I’m not careful, I wear a flat heel cup for flats. The heel of the shoe is curved, making it harder for me to wear it next time. That’s when I got a shoehorn to help my feet slide in properly.

Many shoes don’t require a shoehorn, but dress shoes, high heels, high heels, and boots may need a shoehorn to help your foot slide into the shoe.

If you have been struggling to insert the heel into your shoe, the shoehorn is a good sign. It may not be necessary to buy a shoehorn, but having a shoehorn or equipment that works the same way can reduce the hassle of footwear.

It is easy to wear shoes with a shoehorn. Here are some tips to help you.

Insert the shoehorn into the shoe so it fits snugly against the heel cup. The shoehorn can be placed slightly inclined, so the bottom of the shoehorn is forward, and the handle is pulled back slightly.

Place the shoehorn so that the spoon-shaped part is at the bottom, and then lift up the heel, following the inside contour of the heel.

Insert your toes into the shoe until the front of the ankle touches the tongue and the heel touches the shoehorn.

Next, tilt the shoehorn toward your leg or foot and apply some pressure forward and downward with your heel.

When the feet slip off and touch the insole, pull out the shoehorn.

Each shoehorn is different and may require you to adjust it slightly, but keep in mind that putting your feet in your shoes should not be too strenuous. If it is difficult to stand while using a shoehorn, try loosening the laces slightly or slowing down.
